We make two ways to store 3 ml cartridges: a small screw-top Cartridge Case that holds 7, and Stackable Cartridge Trays that hold 12, 78 or 169 each. Both keep every cartridge upright in its own space, so nothing rolls about or knocks together. This guide shows what each one holds and which suits you.

The case is the one to grab and go. The trays are for keeping a larger number in order on a shelf or in a drawer.
The Cartridge Case
Six cartridges stand in their own wells in a ring, and a purge post in the middle holds a 7th. The wells are 23 mm deep and take standard 3 ml cartridges up to 11.5 mm across and 64 mm long.
The cover screws on with the same thread design as our pen storage cases, so it stays closed in a bag and the two look like a set. It comes in four styles, Twist, Flutes, Hexagon and Smooth, and in Black, White, Grey or Two-tone.

The Stackable Cartridge Trays
Each tray holds 3 ml cartridges upright in square slots, 12 mm across and 18 mm deep, so they fit standard 3 ml cartridges up to 11.7 mm across and 64 mm long. There is 2 mm of room above each cartridge under the next tray or lid. Every tray has a recessed label panel on the front.
Trays lock together with a stacking lip and click into place, so the stack stays put. One lid closes the top. Small grip tabs on the front and back of each tray and lid make them easy to lift apart. Each tray is 67 mm tall, and the lid adds about 6 mm.
Start small, add more
Start with one tray and a lid. When you need more room, add an extra tray under the lid you already have. A stack of three 169 slot trays holds 507 cartridges on a footprint of 186 x 186 mm.
One stack with your vial trays
The cartridge trays share their footprints and lids with our stackable vial trays, so cartridges and vials can share one stack under one lid:
- 12 cartridges stacks with the 3 ml tray for 10 vials and the 10 ml tray for 3 vials
- 78 cartridges stacks with the 3 ml tray for 50 vials and the 10 ml tray for 21 vials
- 169 cartridges stacks with the 3 ml tray for 100 vials, the 10 ml tray for 49 vials and the Mixed tray for 81 vials

How to choose
A few cartridges, on the move
Choose the Cartridge Case. It holds 7, closes with a screw cover and sits happily in a bag next to a pen case.
A dozen in one place
The 12 slot tray is the smallest tray, at 98 x 45 mm, and fits neatly on a shelf or in a drawer.
Lots of cartridges
The 78 and 169 slot trays keep many cartridges in neat rows, with a label panel on every tray. Stack more as you need them.
Tough PETG
The case and trays are printed in tough PETG, which is easy to wipe clean. They are not dishwasher safe. Keep them away from direct heat. Every piece is made to order in the UK and matches our injection pen storage cases, desk stand and vial trays.

Can I mix cartridge and vial trays in one stack?
Yes, as long as they share a footprint. The list above shows which trays go together.
Do I need a lid for every tray?
No. One lid closes the top of a whole stack. Extra trays come without a lid.
